Hammerhead Swim Club is proud of our coaching staff!

Head Coach Beth Burlingame has been with Hammerheads since the fall of 2021. She swam as a high school and club swimmer for many years. She is a teacher at Bemus Point. The time she spends with the kids at the pool and behind the scenes getting swimmers registered for meets is invaluable!

Head Coach Rob Leary has been with Hammerheads since the fall of 2021. He coached the with Cheektowaga Stingrays from 2007-2010, and with the Union Aquatic Club from 2001-2007. He was also a swimmer himself at Olean. His dedication to the sport and the swimmers is unmatched!

Learn to Swim Instructor Jonah Brock has been with Hammerheads for many years. He is excellent with small children and very experienced in helping new swimmers become comfortable in the water. His patience and persistence is ideal for new swimmers.

Coach Jenna Sherlock has been with the Hammerhead Swim Club for several years. Jenna is a former swimmer herself. She is wonderful with young swimmers and will be coaching part time this season.

Coach Jenna Truby will be in her third year coaching with the team. She swam competitively for eight years, and her love for the sport inspired her to become a coach. She swam for HHSC through her childhood and she loves coaching all the young swimmers.

We are welcoming Coach Caitlin Hampe this year. She is a lifeguard for SUNY Fredonia and will be a welcome addition to our wonderful team of coaches!
